3 The Patches

• Train Refitting: Enable the refitting of trains in depots
• New Default Service Interval: Set default service interval for new engines to the given number of days.
• New Non-stop Handling: Trains do not stop at stations where ``non-stop'' is selected
• Sign Cheats: Enable the sign cheats.
• Increased Number of Vehicles: Allow more vehicles in the game.
• New Curve and Mountain Handling: Make trains faster on mountains and in curves with realistic acceleration.
• More consists: Allow more than 80 trains, planes, road vehicles and ships.
• Larger Station Spread: Allow a station complex to occupy a larger area.
• Longer Stations/More Platforms: Makes it possible to build train stations with a maximum size of 7x7
• New load/unload time calculation: A more realistic calculation of load/unload time.
• Mammoth Trains: Attach up to 126 wagons to a train.
• Pre-signals: An improved signalling technique for very efficient networks and stations
• Turn off inflation: All prices remain at the current level, applies to both costs and income.
• Faster Debt Management: Borrow or repay the maximum amount of debt with a single mouse click.
• Persistent Engines: Keep active engines in the purchase list.
• Full load for any type of cargo: The ``full load'' will be satisfied for any cargo type.
• Selectable station cargo: Choose what type of cargo should appear at a station.
• Office towers accept food: In the arctic and tropical climates, office towers will accept food.
• Extra Dynamite: Allow the removal of more city roads and bridges.
• Keep Small Airports: It will always be possible to build small airports.
• Long Bridges: Set the maximum length of a bridge to 127 squares.
• AI Boost: Increase the AI recursion depth.
• Multi-headed Engines: Buy additional engines for a train.
• Road Vehicle Queueing: Road vehicles wait at an occupied station.
• Low Memory Version: For computers with less memory.
• General Fixes: Many small improvements.
• More Airports: Build more than two airports per city.
• Plane Crash Control: Determine under what circumstances planes may crash.
• Bribe Option: Add a bribe option to the local authority menu.
• Show Vehicle Speed: In the vehicle window, show the current speed.
• Autorenewal of old vehicles: Automatically renew vehicles when they reach their maximum age.
• Rebuild ttdpatch.ovl on every run: Rebuilds ttdpatch.ovl even when it is valid.
• Windows 2000/XP compatibility: Makes the Windows version of TTD compatible with Windows 2000/XP.
• Load Entry in the Disk Menu: Adds a ``load game'' option to the in-game disk menu.
• Feeder Service: Allows feeder service operation: unload cargo at a station that would accept them
• Go To Depot: Add depots to vehicle orders
• New Vehicle Graphics: Enable new graphics for vehicles and new vehicle models
• Subsidiaries: Manage subsidiary companies
• Move Error Popups: Move red error popup windows into a corner
• Gradual Loading: Gradually load and unload vehicles

• Signal wait times: Adjust the time a train waits at a red signal
